A flood warning has been issued for towns along the Barwon River in northern NSW.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) says major flooding is expected over the next few days in Mungindi on the Queensland border, with the river expected to hit 7.8 metres around Wednesday.
Major flooding is also expected downstream at Mogil Mogil, where the river is likely to reach nine metres.
Collarenebri may experience minor flooding with a risk of moderate flooding for Walgett, the BoM says.
The latest floods, sparked waters flowing from the Macintyre and Weir rivers, threaten as NSW Deputy Premier Andrew Stoner visited flood-hit Grafton to officially open a disaster recovery centre.
