Adelaide Magistrates Court has heard a woman arrested over a body found at Kuitpo forest, south of Adelaide, allegedly lured the victim to a house where he was killed.
Natasha Summerill, 29, is the third person charged with murder over Michael Varehov's death last June.
His body was found in a shallow grave.
The court heard he was viciously beaten to death with a weapon.
A 51-year-old man and his niece, whose identities are suppressed, also are charged.
Prosecutors opposed bail saying Summerhill allegedly lured the victim to the co-accused's house and helped dispose of the body and destroy evidence.
Summerill's lawyer said the allegations would be denied.
The court ordered a home detention report and adjourned the case for a week.
