A man is expected to appear in court today after a siege that lasted almost three hours at Busby in Sydney's south-west.
Police say the man - who was wanted on outstanding arrest warrants - barricaded himself inside the home on Lomani Avenue, Busby, about 3:00pm Thursday.
Officers say they had received reports the 24-year-old was armed.
They surrounded the property and started negotiating with him, as local streets were blocked off.
At one point a 19-year-old man, who was also in the building, came out and was questioned by police.
Specialist negotiators and officers from the Tactical Operations Unit were called in, and about 5:30pm the wanted man gave himself up.
He has been charged with two outstanding warrants, one of which relates to firearms offences.
He is expected to face Bankstown Local Court on Friday.
