Two men are facing a Melbourne court over the murder of a man who called himself a vampire gigolo.
Shane Chartres-Abbott, 29, was shot dead out the front of his home at Reservoir, in Melbourne's north, in June, 2003.
At the time of his death, Chartres-Abbott was standing trial on charges of rape and causing serious injury.
Two men, Evangelos Goussis, 45, and another man who cannot be named, were charged with murder last year and are now facing a committal hearing in the Melbourne Magistrates Court to determine if there is enough evidence to send them to trial.
A third man, a career criminal who also cannot be named, is already serving a life sentence for murder and is giving evidence via video link from prison.
