JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand fired a 7-under 65 to claim the lead by two shots after the second round of the Indonesian Masters on Friday.

Thonghchai, a three-time Asian Tour Order of Merit winner, sank seven birdies to be at 10 under overall at Royale Jakarta.

Scott Barr of Australia carded a 68 to lie second, a stroke ahead of countryman Wade Ormsby, who also posted 68.

British Open champion Ernie Els (70) headed a group of five at 6 under, with three Australians — Kieran Pratt (68), Jake Higginbottom (69), Scott Hend (72) — and Taiwanese Hung Chien-yao (68).
