It's so cute, it's almost too much to bear.
Six cameras installed in a polar bear den at Sea World amusement park on the Gold Coast are recording the magical bond developing between mother Liya and her newborn cub.
Sea World marine sciences director Trevor Long says they have been monitoring the cub's progress since its birth on May 9.
But he says staff have enjoyed it so much, they're now sharing the "cub cam" footage live with guests.
"We have watched our new arrival almost double in size from the birth weight of 600 grams to what we estimate to be more than a kilo," he said in a statement.
"The cub's appearance has also changed with thin fur now covering its body and the first signs of the black skin that will eventually be hidden by the cub's full coat."
Mr Long said Sea World was still to announce the pint-sized cub's gender or its name.
The six monitors will beam vision to Sea World guests and the Polar Bear Shores exhibit during opening hours.
