Police have announced a $500,000 reward to help them solve the murder of 61-year-old Brenda Goudge.
Detectives believe she may have been killed by someone she knew at her home on Newstead Way in Wantirna South on July 8, 2011.
They say some of her belongings were dumped in the Panton Hill area, north-east of Melbourne.
Her body was located by a family member and a colleague after she failed to turn up for work.
During the past two years detectives have doorknocked the area, handed out pamphlets and conducted searches as part of their investigation.
But they are still searching for answers.
They are asking anyone who may have seen unfamiliar vehicles in the area at the time to contact them.
This month marks the second anniversary of the 61-year-old grandmother's death.
Police say the Department of Public Prosecutions will also consider granting indemnification from prosecution to any person who provides information as to the identity of the principal offender or offenders.
