JINAN, China (Reuters) - The long-awaited trial of ousted Chinese politician Bo Xilai opened on Thursday, said a court in eastern China, beginning the final, dramatic chapter of the country's most politically charged case in more than three decades.

Bo, 64, appeared in public for the first time in 17 months in a court in the eastern city of Jinan, where he will face charges of bribery, corruption and abuse of power. He will almost certainly be found guilty.
