Garbage collectors have agreed to extra hours to empty bins in several suburbs which were hit by a strike on Friday.
The ACT Government says arrangements have been made for extra runs in some suburbs which were missed during industrial action.
Negotiations are continuing for Cleanaway to have their drivers work longer hours today, while TAMS staff will also collect rubbish in Isaacs on Wednesday and Thursday.
Residents in Campbell, Hackett, Hughes, Watson and O'Malley are being advised to keep their bins out so they can be emptied from 3 o'clock this afternoon.
Fair Work Australia yesterday found the industrial action by garbage collectors last week was illegal and ordered that no further strike action be taken.
