Parramatta Eels forward Mitchell Allgood has pleaded guilty to a charge of mid-range driving under the influence of alcohol.

The case has been adjourned until December 18.

The Eels say Allgood has incurred a fine which will be donated to charity of his choice.

"Mitchell Allgood is an outstanding young man who is incredibly active in the community," the Eels said in a statement.

"He is extremely remorseful for his actions and understands the risk he not only placed upon himself but others."

Allgood will also be expected to complete a driving offenders course.
