Queensland Opposition Leader Annastacia Palaszczuk says she's thankful nobody was injured in a blaze which gutted her Sunshine Coast investment property.
"I'm very, very grateful nobody was hurt," Ms Palaszczuk told AAP.
"I'm also very grateful fire crews were able to respond so quickly to stop the fire spreading to neighbouring units."
Department of Community Safety says they were called to a blaze at the Venture St unit block at Sunshine Beach.
Five fire crews were at the scene five minutes later and managed to get the fire under control in about 10 minutes.
However, they were unable to stop the inferno from gutting the top level of the unit complex.
Ms Palaszczuk owns the middle unit in the complex which has a kitchen on the top level.
