(Reuters) - All Blacks centre Ma'a Nonu has buried the hatchet with Auckland Blues coach John Kirwan and will head back to the Super Rugby franchise.
Nonu, who burnt bridges at the Blues when he joined the Highlanders this season, signed a two-year deal that will see him eligible for All Blacks selection for the 2015 World Cup.
"Ma'a has been in brilliant form for the All Blacks and we're thrilled to welcome him back to the Blues," Kirwan said in a joint statement with the New Zealand Rugby Union.
"He's one of the best midfielders in the world so to have someone with his abilities is a huge asset to the squad."
