A 22-year-old man has lost part of his ear after he was attacked with a baseball bat at Corowa in NSW's south.

Two men from Corowa were arrested at the scene and charged following the attack at about 8pm (AEDT) on Monday.

Police said the injured man was taken to Albury Base Hospital where his partially-severed ear was re-attached.

A 36-year-old man has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, affray and using an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.

A 37-year-old man was charged with being armed with intent to commit a serious indictable offence and affray.

They were granted conditional bail to appear in Corowa Local Court on January 30.
